QR code tools

Valid QR Scan brings scanning, generation, inspection and export into one browser based toolkit. It works without an account and processes QR images and payloads on your device.

Clear information, deliberate actions

A QR code is a container, not a guarantee. We show what it contains, distinguish URL facts from heuristic warnings, and leave opening a destination to you. We do not certify websites as safe.

Portable, static codes

Generated codes encode your content directly. There is no hosted redirect, account requirement or scan tracking service. A static code cannot be edited after printing, although content at a web address you control can change.

Built for everyday browsers

The app uses Astro, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, ZXing, QR Code Styling and other open source libraries. Core tools use locally served assets and can work offline after the initial cache is ready. See the installation guide for browser specific limitations.

Install Valid QR Scan

In your browser menu, choose “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen”. On iPhone or iPad, open Share, then Add to Home Screen. In Safari on Mac, use File, then Add to Dock.

Visit once online and wait for “Offline tools ready”. Scanning and generation can then work without a connection. Opening a web destination still needs internet.
