A useful tool. Used responsibly.

Effective October 18, 2026

Using the service

You may use Valid QR Scan to scan and generate QR codes for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the contents you encode and for having permission to use uploaded logos and other material. Do not use the tools to facilitate fraud, distribute harmful links or violate the rights of others.

No destination guarantee

Decoding confirms that this browser could read a payload. URL structure warnings are limited heuristics, not malware screening or professional security advice. We do not guarantee that linked content is safe, available, accurate or legitimate. Payment destinations and amounts must be independently checked before use.

Test before distributing

Test every exported code and its destination on the intended devices and final print materials. Static code contents cannot be changed after printing. Device behavior, camera availability, export handling and offline persistence depend on browsers and operating systems.

Availability and responsibility

The tools are supplied as available, without a promise of uninterrupted service or suitability for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on a code, destination, exported file or browser storage. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Your local files

Keep independent copies of important exports. Local history and caches can be removed by browser settings or storage pressure. There is no account based recovery, cloud backup or hosted dynamic QR service.

Feedback

Use the contact page to prepare a report about a problem. These terms may be updated when the tools change.

Install Valid QR Scan

In your browser menu, choose “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen”. On iPhone or iPad, open Share, then Add to Home Screen. In Safari on Mac, use File, then Add to Dock.

Visit once online and wait for “Offline tools ready”. Scanning and generation can then work without a connection. Opening a web destination still needs internet.
