Local QR processing

Camera frames, uploaded QR images, CSV files, logos and encoded or decoded QR contents are processed in your browser. These tools do not upload that content to our servers. Camera access begins only after you select Start camera and grant permission.

Website requests

Opening the website requests its pages and assets from the hosting provider. That provider may process normal connection information, including IP address, user agent and request time, for delivery and security. This application includes no advertising or analytics integration, and loads its fonts and QR libraries from the same site.

Storage on your device

Local storage holds your theme preference and, if you choose, up to 100 history entries and an automatic history preference. Automatic history is disabled by default. WiFi and recognized payment payloads are excluded from automatic saving. Explicitly saving a result may store sensitive content in plain text on this browser.

You can delete individual items, clear all history, or export it on the History page. Clearing browser site data removes local preferences, history and offline caches. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to access saved items.

Offline cache

A service worker caches application pages, scripts, fonts and icons for offline use. Browser storage policies may evict that cache. This cache contains application assets, not a server copy of your QR history.

Actions you initiate

Copy uses your system clipboard; Share passes the selected result to your chosen application. Opening a decoded link contacts that destination and is subject to its privacy practices. Downloading a QR or exporting history creates a file on your device.

Questions and changes

This policy describes the implementation supplied with this release. Any future addition of analytics, hosting or remote scanning services requires an updated policy. You can prepare a privacy report through the contact page.

Install Valid QR Scan

In your browser menu, choose “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen”. On iPhone or iPad, open Share, then Add to Home Screen. In Safari on Mac, use File, then Add to Dock.

Visit once online and wait for “Offline tools ready”. Scanning and generation can then work without a connection. Opening a web destination still needs internet.
